Trevor’s company Network Midlands arranges the best informal networking meetings in the Leicestershire / Rugby areas. I attend them regularly and have always found the mix of businesses to be an excellent source of contacts to provide me with business services as well as meeting new clients.

Trevor travelled down to Kent in July (2022) to give a talk for CodeHarbour regarding his expertise in cyber security. His talk was incredible and opened up many discussions around web hacking and what we, as developers, can do to prevent it. I know who I’ll be calling if I get hacked that’s for sure!

Trevor developed a database for the LeicesterShire Learning Networks. This was a complex piece of work around Adult Learning provision but Trevor had a good understanding of what was required, developed a database that was easy to administrate, that did what it was supposed to do and a bit more. Being the sole proprietor of a new business involves a lot of planning at all times, but even being organised I knew I needed an a data backup facility requiring minimum effort.

I’ve had a few fairly major IT challenges this week. Made me really miss the ICT support that I used to take for granted when I worked in an organisation. I would just like to say a big thank you for helping me with the back up service we set up through Network Midlands. My Mac book pro was going very slow over a period of time, and then decided to freeze altogether.

I had the pleasure of attending a workshop, Cybercrime- what can go wrong? as part of the #LBF (Leicester Business Festival) . I found the course to be relaxed yet informative, with Trevor’s warm and friendly style, I was able to participate without any inhibition. His knowledge has proved valuable, allowing a proactive and productive implementation of new processes in the work place.

As part of my office management services, I strongly recommend to my clients that they regularly back up their system, however unfortunately I haven’t been practising what I’ve been preaching!
